This weekend, 90% of ski runs will be open and five-day weekend courses begin
16.01.2026
Around 90% of ski slopes will be operating this weekend; only the Šance black run will remain closed. Five-day courses for children are starting, and the Sirotek practice slopes will also be open.
For the upcoming weekend, we have virtually all ski slopes ready, with the exception of the Šance black run. Skiers and snowboarders will therefore have access to 90% of all our runs.
For several days now, our longest run has also been open – the blue Turistická slope, where we will finish one section in its upper part for the weekend (it is over 1,800 metres long in total). Artificial snow has mixed with freshly fallen natural snow, which has significantly improved conditions on all slopes.
On Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 January, the first lessons of our five-day ski courses will begin. These courses are intended mainly for children. This year, 270 people have signed up, which is 50 more than last year. Participants will learn and improve under the guidance of instructors from our ski school – the Josef Treml Academy. Just like the general public, they will also be able to use the Sirotek practice slopes and lifts, which are opening for the first time ever this winter season. The ski school is, of course, open every day for anyone else (children and adults) interested in ski or snowboard lessons.
We offer evening skiing every Friday, Saturday and Wednesday – currently on Friday 16, Saturday 17 and Wednesday 21 January from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm on Spodní Šance, where there is also a popular timed slalom course during the day.
