Weekend at Špičák: 3.5 km of slopes and a timed slalom on Spodní Šance
08.01.2026
Our regular Thursday video invite: this weekend we will offer 3.5 km of ski slopes and continue to expand operations.
Stable freezing temperatures over the last hours have significantly supported snowmaking. For the weekend, we will have around 3.5 kilometres of slopes available, with an average snow depth of about 40 cm. At the same time, snowmaking continues on the upper section of the U Zalomeného slope, which we aim to open in roughly one week. After that, we will focus on preparing the Turistická slope.
Evening skiing continues as usual every Friday, Saturday and Wednesday. The nearest dates are Friday 9 January, Saturday 10 January and Wednesday 14 January, always from 18:30 to 21:00 on Spodní Šance.
Weekend 10–11 January 2026: open slopes and areas
Slalomová (red) – open in full length
Spodní Šance (blue) – open in full length, with a timed slalom course for the public in preparation
U Zalomeného (red) – lower section open (access via Slalomová), including the lower bypass route
